Spring Truck Camping along a Montana River | Hunter Pauley

In this video, Odi and I head out for a quiet overnight camp along a remote Montana river as the first real signs of spring begin to settle into the mountains. The snow has been fading fast, the rivers getting faster, and the whole landscape feels like it's finally shedding its winter layer. We find a peaceful spot tucked along the water, set up camp beneath the Montana sky, and spend the evening slowing down and soaking it all in. For dinner, we make cast an iron sandwich with hot tomato soup and asparagus on the side. For desert, we roast some marshmallows over the fire and enjoy some classic smores. By morning, we wake to cold crisp air, riverside coffee, and bake some fresh huckleberry muffins in the Omnia oven. These are some of my favorite type of mornings and the side of Montana I love most.
