The small village of Gmunden is located on Lake Traunsee. It is not only one of the most beautiful cities in Austria, but also a very famous landmark in Austria with Orth Castle on Traunsee Island. With an average temperature of 19 degrees Celsius, Traunsee is not among the warm lakes in Austria. However, it is often used as a bathing lake and water sports enthusiasts will find good spots here.
